The clients had recently rebuilt their house to a stunning new design and required an equally stunning garden to go with it. The existing space was a rear garden predominantly laid to lawn with overgrown and shapeless shrubby hedges at the boundaries and a front garden of mainly rough gravel and earth without any defined perimeter edges.

The clients were extremely happy with our designs which incorporate an entertaining terrace, separate deck, water feature, pleached lime trees and curved, defined lawn and borders at the back with a circular gravel driveway at the front bounded by low planting and new boundary hedging. One particular feature required by the clients was a double row, double height hedge at the front: Prunus lusitanica was chosen to be fronted by a low yew hedge with 3 silver birches planted within.
